ACTIVATION FEE ~ your choice!
One-Time Account Activation Fee Of $995 for a single 900 Number <OR>
One-Time Account Activation Fee Of $1,495 for UNLIMITED 900 Numbers.
Our Low One Time Activation fee of $995 is for those who are sure that they will never want
or need to activate another 900 number any time in the future. If only the $995 non-refundable
Account Activation Fee is paid at the initial set-up of the account, another $995 will be required
for every additional 900 number under that account. Our Low One Time Account Activation Fee
of $1,495 for UNLIMITED 900 Numbers are for those who wish to establish 1 or more 900
numbers now or at any other time in the future. One-Time means once!
You'll never pay this $1,495 fee again for additional 900 numbers, to discontinue or reactivate service, ETC.!
This non-refundable fee is only paid once and there are no set up fees for each additional
900 number under the UNLIMITED plan! The $1,495 is ideal for entrepreneurs or companies
with multiple programs, or who have multiple ideas for 900 number applications or who are
brokering or reselling our 900 services.
MONTHLY FEE ~ your choice ~ most of our 900 numbers have NO MONTHLY
FEE!
$495 fully refundable deposit plan for 900 numbers generating over 1600
minutes per month <OR> Non-refundable flat rate plan of $175 per
month for 900 numbers generating less than 1600 minutes per month. Most
of our 900 numbers have no monthly fee. To
qualify, you submit a deposit of $495 when activating your 900 number and
maintain at least 2,475 minutes per month. At the start of each billing month, you must submit a deposit of $495 for each 900
number. Then for every minute generated on your 900 line, we will return $.20 of your deposit!
Therefore, there is no monthly deposit if your 900 number is generating at least 2,475 minutes
per month. We then simply roll the deposit ahead to the next month.
If your 900 number generates less than 2,475 minutes in one particular billing month, then we retain the difference
as a fee for the 900 number for that month. For example, if you generated only
2,000 minutes for the month, we would return 2,000 x $.20 = $400 of your deposit retaining
$95 as a fee for your number for the month. Keep in mind that even if you owe something on your monthly
deposit, it can usually be deducted from your revenue check. You still have the actual revenue
earned on your 2,000 minutes to cover your monthly fee if any. If you generate over 2,475
(2,475x$.20=$495), your 900 number is completely free for the month!
Therefore, the more minutes you generate, the lower your cost! For
low volume 900 numbers, we offer a non-refundable flat rate plan for $175
per month. If your line is generating less than 1,600 minutes
per month, it is more cost effective to go with the flat rate plan. You
may switch between the flat rate plan and the monthly deposit plan at any
time before the first day of your billing month each month!
USAGE AND TRANSPORT FEE
$.51 per minute for passive 900 numbers <OR> $.58 per minute for
rerouted 900 numbers. Passive 900 numbers are lines that are
handled by our systems and do not require rerouting to your
location. Rerouted 900 numbers are for all other 900 numbers that we
reroute to a telephone number or multiple telephone numbers in the USA or
Canada. Rerouting to any other phone number in the world is
available, additional international long distance charges will
apply. The usage and transport fee is the equivalent to long distance charges and is deducted from your actual call revenue.
It is the combined fee that we charge to host your 900 number and the fee
charged by the carrier to carry all of your 900 traffic.
BILLING AND COLLECTION FEE
Billing and Collection Fee 15% of Gross if billed by MCI® <OR> 15%
plus Local Exchange Carrier fees if billed by any third party biller. This fee is a percentage of
each call to pay all of the local telephone companies to bill and collect from your callers.
There is a minimum average charge of $1 per call. MCI® will only bill certain
programs. All AT&T® 900 numbers and most other programs must be
billed by third party billers. The total billing and collection fee
for third party billers averages from about 16% to 20% but depends on the
average price per call and average number of calls made per caller in each billing
cycle.
PREAMBLE TERMINATION FEE
This is a minor, yet carrier required fee of $.12 per call when a caller hangs up before the completion of the 18 second
minimum, FCC required preamble. The preamble is the first 18
seconds of the call and must state the nature of the 900 number, cost of the call, give
an age warning, and a tone with 3 seconds following to give the caller a chance to hang up and
not be charged. No preamble is required if you are charging $2 or less for
the entire call. Your America's BEST 900 Numbers!® account executive will work with you to
ensure your preamble and all of your content is in compliance with all FCC rules and regulations.
Preamble lengths may vary from 18 to 996 seconds.
CHARGEBACKS OR UNCOLLECTIBLES
Actual amount of chargeback or uncollectible. These are calls in which the local telephone company was unable to collect from your caller or
the caller refused to pay for the call. Most often a chargeback will occur if the caller does not
feel like you provided him or her with the information or service they were expecting.
Your chargebacks will be deducted from your monthly check. Your chargeback rate can vary
depending on the type of service or information that you are providing.
Most often, you should calculate your chargeback rate at around 5%. Bottom line-Provide What You Advertise!
This will keep chargebacks under control!
DEFERRAL
15% of Gross This is not a cost to you, deferred means still paid to you, but at a later date.
Initially, 15% of your gross will be held in a deferral every month.
If at any time your chargeback rate exceeds 15% of your gross revenue, your deferral will increase accordingly.
For example, if your chargeback rate is 20%, your deferral rate will also be adjusted to 20%.
The full deferral amount is always reimbursed six months later. However, upon disconnect, final
settlement will occur 12 months after the last chargeback has been applied
from the local exchange carriers.
